Lovely little park. Outdoor gym and play area. At the end of the park is a lovely walled garden that you can walk around, and there is a cafe. Carry on ahead and walk up to the monument if you are feeling energetic. Great views on a clear day, we managed to spot Blackpool Tower.

Popped to this park to walk my dog whilst visiting the Lakes for a few days. A simple but pleasant green space. Nice that there are designated areas for dogs off leads / children, so everyone is catered for. Also loved the wild flower section.

Children's playground is full of Playdale equipment and it is well spread out and grouped in age ranges. The equipment is set in a soft surface and is surrounded by grassy hillock. There are also a variety of keep fit machines on the far side of the park. Regular park runs take place here. There is a cafe in the summer months and events throughout the year.

Amazing park for older and younger children. Was also happy to be able to be with my younger son and still watch my older son whilst playing but still in view. New play equipment is lovely and my sons loved them! Nice green fields handy parking if you go through the big gates into the park. There is a cafe and walks up to the lighthouse we had a lovely time!

A lovely wee park,great for families aswell as anyone wanting a peaceful walk! The start of the walk up to the Sir John Barrow on Hoad Hill is through Ford Park. Also the oldest church in Ulverston is just above the park,the parish church of St Mary's,parts of it have been there since 1111. Daffodils out too when we were there,the start of spring!

Great park, kids activities and a large dog area at the foot of Hoad Hill upon which stand the Sir John Barrow Monument. There is also the a cafe in the grounds and at the hospice just on the edge.

We visited Ford Park having arrived in Ulverston quite late in the afternoon, and just wanting somewhere to go that was dog-friendly, that would be suitable for my two youngest daughters to play, and also where I could walk with my mum who is now getting on in years. Ford Park delivered! I opted for the park as its very close to the monument/lighthouse and can be accessed from there. Even though the park has opening and closing times it is, in actual fact, accessible 'out of hours' as there is no gate that is locked. You can actually drive into the park (single track road) and park in a small area. side. I actually noticed a few cars parked on the grass. My girls thoroughly enjoyed playing on the park amenities. Just past the house (in the middle of the park) there is also a lovely enclosed garden area that is run by friendly volunteers. You can buy plants and horticultural goodies there too. There also looks to be a cafe there. My dog also loved playing in the park.

Went to the park for a Park Run which is held here every Saturday at 09:00. The park was clean and neat. The children's playground was tidy and as far as I could tell all the apparatuses seemed to be working. There is a lovely-looking cafe in the park. Did pop my head in to see it but we had to rush to our next kid's activity appointment so did not sample their goodies this time. There is also a garden nursery on site. There are restrooms at the cafe but did not use them either so I cannot comment on the condition. Plenty of space for a picnic and for the kids to dash around. Dog-friendly too with doggy dodo bins available too.
